More than 100 years of quality
Saksida estate is located in village Zalošče in the heart of Vipava valley.
This is the land of the sun where the Alps and Mediteran worlds meet. The climate is submediteranian with mild winters, typical wind called burja and hot, dry summers.
Viticulture tradition of Saksida family goes back to the beggining of 19th century, when Saksida landlord planted the first vineyard.
The ideal position and well-maintained vineyards, which stretch on the slopes above Vipava river, are our greatest treasure and the fundation for producing delicious wines.
With thoughtful steps and wisdom of our ancestors, we take our product from it’s vineyards to the bottle while following our goal; to reach high quality while respecting the Nature.
