Barbera has a distinctive fruity caracter, with aromas od sour cherries, currants and berries. The taste is fresh and rich with light prune notes. Its light tannins and fruitiness tastes great even if it is aged only in stainless steel, but the best results are reached when it ages in oak barrels for a longer period.
Barbera is a perfect pairing with red or smoked meat and aged hard cheeses.
It should be served at 14-18°C.
